One Month Old!!

Tyler is now 1 month old and it feels like just yesterday we were bringing him home! He currently weighs about 13 lbs and is 24 inches long. He is officially OUT of 3 months clothes and has moved into 3-6 and 6 month clothes. Here we thought we could reuse some of Luke's clothes but most of Luke's 6 months clothes are summer. With the snowfall we've been getting, he may be out of the size before he even gets to wear them!

Tyler is still a very calm, relaxed baby. He hardly ever cries, except when he needs a diaper change or is really hungry. He has no real "schedule" right now but does have his days and nights figured out. He nurses about every 2-2.5 hours during the day and 2-4 hours at night. When he takes a bottle, he drinks between 2-3 ozs. He takes 1-2 hr naps throughout the day and is starting to be more awake during the day time. He stays asleep through feedings at night.

Caitlynn and Luke really are enjoying time with Tyler. Caitlynn wants to hold him whenever she is home and comes in every morning to see what he is doing. Luke is not as excited about holding Tyler but is interested in what he is doing. Luke talks about the bunk beds they will share when Tyler gets older. Let's hope he is still excited to share a room with him in the future!

Mimi's Birthday

We took a quick trip to Lancaster, PA today to surprise Mimi for her birthday. Uncle Rusty invited her and Popi over for dinner with "just him". Laura cooked an Asian dish and Ry picked up sushi, Mimi's favorite. She was very surprised to see us at Uncle Rusty's and loved having us there to celebrate with her! Tyler did great on his first road trip and sleep over at Mimi and Popi's house. We came back the very next day but were glad we could help her celebrate!

Caitlynn's Family Party

Caitlynn had a Rapunzel themed family birthday party this year. Nonna made her a cake complete with a tower and Rapunzel's hair tumbling down from the tower window. This year, almost all of Caitlynn's family was able to come to her party. Uncle Mike, Aunt Jill, and Hannah even came down from north Jersey to help her celebrate her 5th birthday! Uncle Andrew and Aunt Kitty FaceTimed in to sing her "Happy Birthday". Caitlynn couldn't wait to open her gifts and did that even before we had dinner! She received many great gifts this year for her birthday, such as bathing suits, singing Princess dolls, clothes, books, a Minnie Camera, and Emily- an American Doll. We really enjoyed spending the night with family and were happy so that so many people could join us to celebrate our little girl's 5th birthday!

Caitlynn's Tea Party

This year, Caitlynn decided she wanted to have a Princess tea party with her friends. Four of her favorite friends were able to come to her tea party. Each girl dressed up in their favorite princess dress and jewelry including Caitlynn, who wore her Rapunzel dress that Nonna made for her for Halloween. The girls enjoyed a "tea party" lunch and cupcakes made by Nonna. We played pint he crown on the princess and each girl made their own princess picture frame, complete with their picture from that day. Caitlynn and her friends had a great time playing with her Barbie's and Princess dolls and even made up their Princess games! It was a huge success and Caitlynn really enjoyed spending the days with her friends!
