Bringing Caitlynn Home

After 10 long days at the NICU, Caitlynn was finally cleared and discharged today. We are so thrilled and excited to finally have her home and finally be a family! We would like to thank all of our family and friends for their thoughts, prayers, and support during this trying time and are so thankful to the staff at the NICU for their hard work and dedication to helping Caitlynn get well and heal so quickly. We'll continue to post picures and updates as she continues to grow.

Caitlynn's Big Debut!
We were able to hold Caitlynn for the very first time today! She loves being all bundled up and passed around to her grandparents. Nobody wanted to give her up once they had her... especially mom and dad! We're still not sure who she looks like more so we're saying she just looks like Caitlynn!
Thanks to all of our family and friends for the encouraging cards, emails, and phone calls. We appreciate every one's thoughts and prayers for Caitlynn as she continues to improve and grow stronger each day. The staff at the NICU is wonderful and she really is receiving the best care possible. She needs to be on the antibiotics for 5 more days before she can leave the NICU. But, she is responding well and that's what we want. I know we'll be bringing her home with us soon!

Welcome Caitlynn Margaret!

We're proud to announce the birth of Caitlynn Margaret Harbold at 3:27 pm on Sunday, January 11th. She weighed 7 lbs 7 oz and was 20 1/2 inches long. She has brown hair like her Daddy and blue eyes and is just the cutest little thing!
She is currently in the NICU due to an infection she got during delivery but she'll be coming home before we know it. Mommy is doing great and is healing nicely from the delivery. We will be posting pictures of our sweet little girl once we get her home and settled in.

Full Term

Today is my official due date and baby Peanut must not be ready to come out! I haven't been feeling any contractions and have spending this week at home "nesting"... which Ryan claims is dangerous since I have a tendency to organize and rethink things (i.e. paint color, furniture placement, the placement of walls in the house). Have no fear, I am not doing anything too strenuous. I have an appointment on Friday that we were hoping I wasn't going to make but, the baby obviously has other plans. Hopefully, we'll have a baby update by then! Keep thinking baby for us!
