Rehobeth Beach

We all just returned from a family vacation at Rehobeth Beach, DE with both sets of Grandparents, Aunt Jill, Uncle Mike, and Uncle Rusty. We had great weather for most of the week and enjoyed many walks into town and on the boardwalk. Caitlynn spent almost everyday on the beach and even got her feet in the sand,... though we're not sure how much she liked it. Everyone enjoyed spending time with her and seeing all the new things she can do!

5 Months Old

Caitlynn is now 5 months old and we can't believe how fast the time has flown by! She continues to grown stronger and is making new discoveries each day. She now weighs about 16 lbs and is 26 in long. She goes to bed around 8:30pm and doesn't wake up until 6:30ish the next morning. She takes two to three 20 minute "cat naps" during the day but is isn't on any kind of schedule. She drinks five 7 oz bottles and eats rice cereal every night for "dinner".

She is becoming an independent little girl. She will hold her bottles by herself when there's only 1-2 ozs left. She likes holding the spoon when she's eating too. She still isn't quite able to roll from her back to her tummy but she is so close! She loves playing with her toys, especially ones that play music. She is content with sitting in her Bumbo chair and playing with her links while we make dinner. If you hold her up, she can support herself on her legs. She always seems to be observing everyone in the world around her and is always ready to give you a smile. She is just the happiest little girl and we feel so lucky to have her!
