Luke Rolls Over
Luke has recently started to roll from his belly to his back. We were able to get a short video of him doing this today!

3 Months Old
Luke is now 3 months old and we can't believe how fast time has flown by! He weighs about 15 lbs and is 24 1/2 inches long. He continues to wear size 6 month clothing but he won't be in it much longer! He still eats every two hours during the day and will sometimes do three hour stretches at night, if Laura is lucky! He goes to bed around 9:30 and wakes up for the day around 8:00. He takes a 1-2 hour nap around 10:00am and then cap naps throughout the afternoon. He is nursing most of the time but will now take a bottle without fighting to much.
Luke is no starting to play with the toys that hang from his car seat. He will reach out for things when they are held out in front of him. He is getting better at holding up his head while on his belly but his is still not a fan of "tummy time". Today, he rolled over from his belly to his back on his own! Of course, we couldn't find the camera anywhere and when we finally located it, he decided he wasn't going to roll anymore. Go figure!

Special moments from this month were: attending one of Ryan's softball games (he won!), having a "play date" with Jack Barraco (it was more like a snooze date!)4, strawberry picking, visiting a horse farm, and meeting Great Grandmom Campisi for the very first time! We can't wait to see what developments and milestones he will hit over the course of another month!

Meeting Grandmom Campisi

Nonna and Pop-pop came down for a visit and brought Great Grandmom Campisi with them. This is the first time she has met Luke. He was on his best behavior for her and she enjoyed holding her first great grandson!

Here are four generations all together. How often does that happen? It was a special day for us all!
Strawberry Picking
the weather was great so we decided to take the kids strawberry picking. We were going to go to Baugher's Farm where we picked apples in the fall but decided to try out Gorman's Farm. It's a local farm about 20 minutes from out house. There were not many ripe strawberries ready to be picked that day but we were able to fill up a pint. Caitlynn didn't like walking around in the muddy parts of the field (we have NO IDEA where that comes from!). She did love eating the strawberries once Mommy and Daddy picked them. It was a fun, family adventure and we hope to make this a yearly tradition!

Tummy Time!

We have been trying to give Luke tummy time so he can strength his neck and chest muscles. Today, we had him on his tummy and this was the first time he really tried to hold up his head. He isn't quite able to hold his head up all the way yet but it's about 45 degrees, so he's half-way there. We are so proud of our little man! He's growing stronger each and every day! It won't be long until he is playing with his toys on his belly all by himself!

Play ball!

The weather was fantastic so Laura decided to take Caitlynn and Luke to watch Ryan play softball. He plays with co-workers from the Census at a school near his work. Caitlynn really enjoyed the playgrounds near the field and everyone loved holding Luke! It was a successful trip and we look forward to attending more games to be the cheer leaders!
