Caitlynn is now 18 months old and we can't believe how big she is! We recently went to the doctor's where she received a clean bill of health. She weighs 23 lbs 13 oz and is 32.5 inches tall. He was very happy to hear about all of things she is doing and says she is right on track developmentally, which is great news! He can hardly believe she was so sick as a baby and looking at her now, neither can we! She got two shots and of course cried. Luckily, Laura found a lollipop for her which made her world a happy place again! We won't have to return again until she is two!

There are so many things she is doing these days. She can walk up the stairs if there is a railing she can hold onto or if she is holding onto our hands. Sometimes, she evens uses the wall for support! She runs around the house and loves to chase after Rocco (he is not to happy about that!). She climbs up on everything and nothing seems out of her reach anymore. She can almost reach the top of the kitchen counter so no more leaving things near the edge at our house! She can name and say some many things! She loves to look through photo albums to "find" family members, especially Nonna and Mimi. She knows a lot of her body parts and loves to point out things on other people,.. especially our belly's! She knows the names of lots of different animals and is starting to mimic the noises they make. Her favorites are barking and meowing (which is more like a high pitched shrieking sound!). Caitlynn is very helpful and will get us things if we ask her. She loves to get the phone and says "Nonna" or "Mimi", which means we have to call them now so she can talk to them. She will put the phone right up to her ear to talk,.. we're not sure where she learned this from!

She continues to be such a great toddler has the sweetest disposition. She is a great sleeper at night and during her nap times. As long as she stays on her normal schedule, she is one happy camper! We can't wait to watch her grow and see what new things she will be learning before her next birthday!
